As we approach Chapter 200, I wanted to say thank you to all those who've been reading the story this far. I know it is long-and I never expected it to become a mini-novel myself- but I wanted everyone to know how much I have appreciated their comments and how inspiring they've been! It's the reason the story has continued as long as it has. I'm beginning to think that perhaps it has gone on too long and that folks are beginning to lose interest and are hoping to see it end soon! Please let me know as I appreciate your feedback and I have no wish to torture the faithful with more chapters if you're just being loyal. I have enjoyed writing the story and getting to know many of you through your comments, but lately I've sensed that folks have had enough.
So, yes, this is a thinly veiled request for comments if you're still enjoying the story and want it to continue. I haven't yet reached an ending in my mind, but I will make an effort to do so if folks would prefer that at this point.
Again, thanks to everyone for indulging me for so long. Chapter 200 will follow shortly.

- I never thought of myself as a writer. The first chapter was all I intended to write. I never even knew what Jon Bon Jovi looked like until a few years ago. (Don't ask me where I was in the 80's, but suffice it to say I was living under a rock on a campus somewhere busily working on my degree)I discovered 'Keep the Faith' & 'These Days' (still my favorite) and I was hooked. After exposure to many photos and songs, the Sauna began to take shape. Since writing that first chapter, I sit down at the computer and just start writing and I am as surprised as anyone with what comes out on the computer screen. There is no plan and I merely transcribe what the muse tells me and I follow the story myself with bated breath, anxious to see what will happen next. The process itself has been an unusual experience and I have grown quite a bit as a result. I'm enjoying the ride and I hope you will too!

it only took me 5 days to catch up. Why I stopped reading is beyond me. I love the conflict between the family. I love the charecterization of Matt...you are almost right on! Or in my opinion. looking forward to 200 with bated breath.

Do you really need me to say how much I love this story? I will plead, beg, grovel, borrow and beg to keep the story of Jon and Trish going. There is SO MUCH potential still here, so many places to take it and things and people to write about.
Opester, I know the feeling about getting feedback, it's hard as a writer to not hear from those who read and don't say anything, but please know that there are so many people out there who LOVE this story, every single bit of it. I start every single day checking for a new chapter and then re-reading the one before if you haven't had time to post.
I so want to see what happens with the fan club, with Elaine, with Carol, with Richie, and anything else you can think of.
So, please, please, listen to your instincts, the ones that told you to start this story in the first place, and take it wherever it goes for as long as it goes.

There is so much more to be said - I know that we haven't heard the last of Elaine and the Foundation, Backstage and Carol (I haven't forgotten that between her and Matt, they're out to make sure that Trish fails).
This story will be over when it decides that it's over and not a minute sooner. So, don't even think of finishing it before it's ready.
And, anyway, I've told you before, I don't want this story to end. It keeps me sane :)

I just discovered this on 6/27, after seeing a link on Topix. I'm a new Bon Jovi fan and this fan fiction is blowing me away. I'm all caught up in just 5 days.

Welcome to the new reader! Thanks for letting me know-I really appreciate hearing from folks and knowing that there are more than just one or two folks who are reading the story! I guess I'll keep writing as long as folks are still interested and there's a story to tell!
Well, I know you didn't stop writing and I'm glad for that.
By the time you started the story I was a newbie on the forum and when I saw the fan fic thread I thought it would be hard for me to understand it as I had never read anything that big in English.
But with the help of a dictionary and your writing ability it has been easy, funny and very educational!
So keep on writing, I'm enjoying the story very very much!!
